"Even Mahir has at least one gun in his room, not that he uses it much. Mahir being the colleague of mine who was left babysitting me until my parents arrived, while everyone else went off to chase the news. "My parents own shares in the place, otherwise they'd be at our door asking questions. Instead, they have to keep their turmoil to themselves."
