Maggie laughs, bright and sincere, because of course he doesn't mind that quiet notoriety. It's worth the momentary twinge of pain, having him here, having him not mind being here.

She reaches for his hand and laces their fingers together. "Your name will be spoken of in hushed tones among the security crew for years to come."

But there are a few important things to cover. "If you haven't memorized the name Kellis-Amberlee, do that. One of the effects of viral amplification is cognitive deterioration, and I don't want anyone thinking you've started amplifying based on the fact that you've 'forgotten' the name of the virus that's dominated everyone's thoughts for the past 27 years."

"We should also talk cover story, since we can't tell anyone where you actually came from. My group of friends is pretty eclectic, so we can do whatever you want in terms of background, but might as well give you a choice in things before your new ID comes through." She stops to consider a moment, hating the idea of Seth at risk as much as ever, before she continues.

"...If you want a job with the site, you'd probably make a good Irwin; people would pay good money to watch you shoot zombies in a suit. We just," she breaks off, looking absolutely devastated for a second, "we just lost Becks, so I don't know who your boss would be, but Mahir and I have the authority to hire you. There's obviously nothing saying you need to take a job in the public eye, though. Or at all, really, until you find something you want. It's not like I'm hurting for money. Just let me know if there's anything you want included in your background records."
