Yuletide 2020 Letter
Dear Yuletide author,
Some of my favorite things to read include:
found family
strong friendships, especially ones that grow and develop slowly over time
detailed cultural worldbuilding
character sketch vignettes with plenty of emotion
bonds of loyalty, to a cause or a person
Basically, as long as characters care, about a person or people or a cause, I'll have a good time. Feel free to use these ideas as a jumping off point, or to go in a completely different direction.
General DNWs:
AUs set in worlds besides the original canon (canon divergence is fine!)
noncompliance with explicit canon character traits (particularly race of POC characters, gender identity, and sexual orientation)
smut
Kingkiller Chronicle
(Devi)
I love the series, but I want more of the women in it without looking through Kvothe's perspective. Devi is one of my favorites.
Origin story stuff: Devi at university, her expulsion, driving forces in becoming a gaelet
Devi interacting with anyone other than Kvothe; other clients of hers, or some of the university girls. is she still in touch with any fellow students? are any of her fellow university women now clients of hers?

(Hadand, Tdor, or Jeje)
What I'm hoping for out of this request is fic primarily about women. Not all of the nominated characters need to be included, and you're welcome to include characters who weren't mentioned! But these are a few of my favorites and I'd adore fic about any of them.
Literally anything for Hadand, but bonus points for it involving other women. I love the relationships between Marloven women, the conspiracies, the friendships, the rivalries and enmities. Her friendship with Tdor, scoldings like the one she gave Honeytongue...
More Tdor in her adult married life, or in the palace during her training years, or something at Tenthen growing up in the time between her scenes

I'd especially love more of the developing relationship between these two women, set at any point in the series! Back when relations were strained, when they were girls, or when they're adults and strong friends. Or you could even do a few little snippets from various points in their relationship.
Machineries of Empire
(Khiruev, Brezan)
I just really love both of these two, and I love their bonds of loyalty, and I love how hard they try. Anything with them together would delight me.
Some interactions before Cheris arrived on the scene and disrupted their routine
Something between them post-Raven Stratagem, as Khiruev finishes her recovery
Brezan (and optionally Tseya) have Khiruev over to dinner at some point
