It's a confusing passage through space and time for Harry, leaving him with muddled memories of exactly how it happened—but the end result of it is that he crashes down on the rocks of King William Island.

He groans and sits up and recognises the surroundings instantly.

Oh no.

He stands up, looking up at the sky as if expecting to see the Barge directly overhead, but there's only the Arctic late summer sky and the sun. Then he's startled by the sound of a footfall on rock and he turns and sees her.

She's staring at him in shock, at once frightened and hopeful.

"Silna?" He takes a step toward her, and she steps back, still uncertain.

"Silna. *It's me. Harry. I live." He holds out his hand and she takes a step toward him, then another, and finally moves close enough to lay her hand against his cheek. And then she pulls him tightly into her arms, pressing her nose against his cheek, and they're both crying.

Later, in her tent, he tells her what's happened to him, and she tells him about meeting Tris with signs and what bits of language she can manage, and responding to his questions.

"Tris will come for us. She'll find a way, I know it," he tells her. There's Iris, there's Quentin, there's people with power who can locate them. It's just a matter of time.
