I swear I saw a dragon!
Kitten whirled in alarm, unsure of where she'd wound up. She had meant to go home, and instead, she was here. The roads were paved differently than at home, neither dirt nor evenly cut cobblestones, and the buildings were built with very different materials and styles. She chirped plaintively, but only for a moment.
She did want to find a way home, but right now, there was curiosity to be satisfied. Who knew if she would have this opportunity again? She approached the nearest building, sneaking past a security guard with the camouflage spell she had recently picked up. If the building was guarded, perhaps people inside would be well-informed as to the state of affairs in her current location. She could hope, at least.
Kitten passed through one door, and when she came to one that did not open automatically, she whistled. The door stubbornly held out just a moment before giving in and letting her pass.
'Naval Criminal Investigative Service' read a sign on the wall. Kitten pondered this. Her initial hunch had been correct. Investigators would at least be well informed, and information was what Kitten was after.
She dropped the camouflage spell and waited for someone to take note of her.

She turned to bring something up on the screens so Gibbs would have something to work with when he got upstairs, before glancing at something that seemed out of place. Once she looked, she almost did a double take at the fact that there was something that looked like a living, breathing, dragon there.
"I am going insane." She said. "That or the lack of sleep is getting to me." She put down the remote for the screen before walking over to the possibly-but-how-does-it-exist dragon, checking the area for anyone else before stopping.
"McGee is going to have a fit if you really exist..."

Kitten straightened up to her full height, which admittedly only brought the tip of her snout about two feet above the ground. She whistled and clicked indignantly, scolding Ziva. Kitten certainly did exist. Still, she was a little amused. Even in her own land, the sight of a dragon was rare; the dragonet could hardly be surprised by her reception here.
Kitten's indignation faded quickly enough. She would choose disbelief over fear in any case.
She gave a small trill that followed the inflection of a question, rising in pitch at the end. Kitten didn't bother figuring out how to convey a specific question to the stranger. Not yet. She would wait at least until her conversational partner had grasped the reality of her presence. To start with, Kitten would accept any information Ziva might offer.
