PREMISE
Taken from The Magician's Nephew book in the Chronicles of Narnia series, this musebox is essentially the place between the worlds; in it there are pools that are portals to the worlds of the characters present, or even other worlds entirely.
Characters reach the place between worlds by finding a pair of rings. One ring pulls them from the world into the forest. The pools in the forest are only ankle-deep puddles until a character tries jumping in while wearing the other ring.
Interactions can take place in the forest between worlds or in the worlds themselves. Characters can be natives of the worlds (but not of the place between), or travelers. Travelers may even attempt to pass themselves off as natives of the world in which they find themselves. They can have possessed the rings and this ability for as long or short a time as desired.
The characters and journals listed HERE are my own, but others are also welcome to post. I'd love a chance to play with other people's characters!
